PSEG Long Island accepts Minority/Women Business Enterprises (MWBE) diversity certifications from the New York Empire State Development (ESD) Corporation and Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOB) certifications from the New York State Office of General Services (OGS). Diverse suppliers provide PSEGLI with a host of materials and services annually.

MWBE Certification. This year, meet with Empire State Development representatives to ask questions about certification. In accordance with Article 15A, PSEG Long Island may only recognize minority or women-owned businesses certified by Empire State Development’s (ESD) Division of Minority and Women’s Business Development.

To become certified as a New York State MWBE, a business must apply through ESD’s Division of Minority and Women-Owned Business Development on the New York State Contract System website. ESD maintains a searchable directory of certified MWBEs. The search can be vendor-specific, product-specific or by market area.
