In accordance with Executive Law Article 15-A, PSEG Long Island may only recognize minority or women-owned businesses certified by Empire State Development’s (ESD) Division of Minority and Women’s Business Development. To become certified as a New York State MWBE, a business must apply through ESD’s Division of Minority and Women-Owned Business Development on the New York State Contract System website. ESD maintains a searchable directory of certified MWBEs. The search can be vendor-specific, product-specific or by market area.

In accordance with Executive Law Article 17-B (becomes Veteran’s Services Law Article 3, effective April 1, 2023), PSEG Long Island may only recognize veteran-owned businesses certified by the New York State Office of General Services’ (OGS) Division of Service-Disabled Veteran’s Business Development. To become certified as a New York State SDVOB, a business must apply through the Office of General Services’ website. OGS maintains a searchable directory of certified SDVOBs. The search can be vendor-specific, product-specific or by market area.
