In accordance with Executive Law Article 15-A, PSEG Long Island may only recognize minority or women-owned businesses certified by the Empire State Development Corp. (ESD), Division of Minority and Women’s Business Development. To become certified as a New York State MWBE, a business must apply through the Empire State Development’s Division of Minority and Women-Owned Business Development on the New York State Contract System website. ESD maintains a searchable directory of certified MWBEs. The search can be vendor specific, product specific or by market area.
